A Small Paradise: Coron, Palawan

Feb. 201, Chinese New Year and I got a three-day vacation from work. Decided to visit Coron, Palawan and that trip was my first solo domestic tour.

Touchdown, Busuanga

I stayed at Sea Dive Resort. There were vans waiting outside the airport that would take you to your resort. Fare is 150 – 200 pesos.

Sea Dive offers Island Hopping activity. Since I was on a solo trip, I had to rent the entire boat for Php 1,500. It was their smallest which can accommodate four passengers. Luckily there was this Chinese family of three who wished to join me (which means I only had to pay Php 375 for that island hopping).
Kayangan Lake. This will require you to have a little trekking.

Starting point.

 All the way up.

And this is what you’re gonna see once you reach the top.

Just a small cave on that same spot where you’ll be standing to see that magnificent view (above).

But it’s actually a small dead-end cave. Nothing to explore.

Siete Pecados, Twin Lagoon, and Barracuda Lake are among the places where the bangkero will take you. They look almost the same, but still, nature lovers will truly enjoy each place.

After this whole day activity, we all went back to the resort. Next day's target: Mt. Tapyas. http://travelhereandtherephotos.blogspot.com/2014/02/mt-tapyas-coron-palawan.html
