Eden’s Nature Park, Davao

Eden’s Nature Park is a man-made forest. They accept single pax for their mini tour, inclusive of snack (or buffet if you opt for it. Plated snack was just good to ease you hunger, but the amount and taste wasn’t satisfying. Better bring biscuit or sandwich and bottled water.)
Hiring a cab for only Php 1,500 is the easiest way to go to Eden’s – that is if you don’t have a car or if you’re on a solo trip like me. The cab driver will wait for you. Take your time. The place is quite far with a hill-like road. Good luck to those who insist on taking public transportation (perhaps not bad if you have time, enough stamina, and buddies with you).
Don’t miss to avail their tour. Check their website for the schedule. (I got the 10am Tour). Here's what you'll get to see:
Rainbow Pass
Amphitheater

If you are endowed with a good sense of direction and can read a map even if you’re on your own, take time to do a little trekking.

Tinubdan. Check the Datu’s humble abode. They used to live in Nipa hut, too – only bigger.

Tinubdan's Humble Community. See how these people used to live. Meet their Protector, Doctor, Leader, etc.

Next Stop: Lola's Garden

Make a wish!

Here's Mayumi's Wishing Well. Full of beautiful flowers.

Tired? This could help!

Need shade? By 11AM, sun's getting hotter and brighter.

It says here: Save Mother Earth. Now!

The Pasyalan.

Right after the tour, you're on your own. Explore the entire area if you want to.

See those birds inside their cages. Some are wandering around. I was amazed to see those birds with beautiful fluffy white feathers.

You'll find more bird species, but this one's my favorite.

And then there's this Butterfly Garden.

Few more steps, you'll find this area. I was lucky the place wasn't crowded when I went there.

After the tour or after you're done exploring the place, go straight to their restaurant to eat.

This place is definitely a must-see in Davao. You can even spend your entire 3D2N-vacation here. It's simply relaxing.

The campsite!
