Day Trip to Chinatown - July 2016

A day trip to Chinatown with my LG (light group) sisses was more than just fun and meaningful. It’s the birth month of three of these lovely ladies (Miles, Lyn, and Shem) and they decided to celebrate their special day with us, too.

That Binondo visit had a well-planned itinerary, with lots of artistic kodak moments (thanks to our young, talented Chari). I’d been wanting to explore Chinatown again since my first visit was a bit of disappointment. Glad to have finally done that with great people.  It’s my first gala with them. I loved the LRT 1 ride and enjoyed sightseeing. #FeelingForeigner

First stop: Sta. Cruz church

We kept on walking, checking every possible place where we can have our mini photo shoot. I didn’t know where we were (neither did they, but thanks to google map, anyway) – I just kept on observing as to how Chinatown looks like on a lazy weekend afternoon.

Almost lunch time, someone handed us a brochure that says 50% on dimsum stuff. That was appealing enough to our celebrators and so we went to Royale restaurant. They really had yummy dimsum!

Back to our short tour, temple’s next. We hailed a tricycle going to Seng Guan Temple on Narra Street.

Real lunch time came – and off we went to Lan Zhou Lamien (authentic handpulled noodles) via tricycle again. 4-5 people can fit inside the tryk.

That was a super heavy lunch! #Burp That gave us enough energy to start another walkathon.

Finding Binondo church / Finding Lucky Chinatown mall:

After attending mass at Binondo church, we started looking for Lucky Chinatown mall where we had our monthly LG meeting.

That day trip was lighter, more productive, and fun compared to my first visit
